Hi, it’s not that I forgot how to take photographs it’s just that I’m practicing a style that defers from the previous one.
What I’m noticing last time is that snapshot style photography became very trendy last time and I’m very sorry about that. For this purpose I didn’t use any artificial light or Photoshop. But I only used Lightroom to adjust tones.
If you ask me about what I think about this latest trend and all of this hate of Photoshop my opinion is like this. Photoshop is just a tool which helps you improve your photographs. It’s the same type of tool as the darkroom was in the past. Some time ago I heard from someone that if Ansel Adams would live today he would definitely be a Photoshop fan since he was known for mastering darkroom and Photoshop is just an evolution of that process.
For me the Photoshop is a tool just like all the lighting equipment is a tool too. So if someone says Photoshoped photos are not the real photos then I can claim the photos made with artificial light aren’t the real photos too.
In general the whole point about Photoshop is that most of the haters are not good in Photoshop. Now everyone that is not an experienced photographer can make miracles in Photoshop and he/she can compete with the old school photographers. So they are becoming afraid because they are losing their business.
Just my opinion.
